Optimal Siting and Sizing of EV Charging Station using Stochastic Power Flow Analysis for Voltage Stability

Existing literature on planning for electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS) fails to consider uncertain factors in power systems, such as load fluctuations and the impact of EV integration. Consequently, using deterministic flow (DPF) algorithms EVCS is unreliable. To address this, we propose a probabilistic model loads introduce novel dynamic system voltage stability (DSVS) index. We then present an effective optimization site size stochastic (SPF). Our aims maximize capital gains investment costs EVCS, minimize yearly users’ average wait time distance charge DSVS simplify problem, use super-efficiency data envelopment analysis (SEDEA) method determine objective weights transform multi-objective problem into single-objective one. Finally, jointly solve voronoi diagram adaptive differential evolution algorithm (ADEOA). verify effectiveness our proposed case study with IEEE 33-node distribution network topology area diagram.
